I was invited to paint with this group when they came up to Summit County this September, and I took them up on it. Now that I feel more comfortable painting outside, I will be joining them more often I hope!

A journal on the struggle to learn how to paint well enough to call myself an artist
I just love your paintings. They are always full of such brilliant color and they make me want to head West!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful one, Joanne. I haven't been able to venture out with my easel yet. I guess I should take it out in the front yard first; it's a rather safe place and there will be minimal traffic for me to get used to. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this painting too--guess I really am a sucker for these amazing fall colors and your capture of the foliage is exquisite!! Thanks for your mom comment, too--Good to share these bitter-sweet memories!!
ReplyDeleteFall is just my favorite time of year to paint. I take my camera out and photograph like mad so I can paint it all winter long too! Thanks for the nice comments :)
